Saudi Arabia Invests 30 Billion Euro in Education

According to Dr. Shaman Rahim, a professor at Dar Al-Hekma University in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, guest lecturer at the Faculty of International Economics and Politics at the University of National and World Economy, it is expected that this year Saudi Arabia will invest up to 30 billion euro in education. During the lecture Dr. Shaman Rahim talked about the history and development of women's education in Saudi Arabia. She drew attention to the economic and social progress of the country in recent years, as well as women’s role and contribution in its implementation.

"The increasing role of women in Saudi society is also proven by the fact that they are part of the globalization processes. Globalization is an ongoing process at our Faculty and our International Economic Relations, International Relations, and Political Science programs as well", said Prof. Antoaneta Vassileva, dean of the Faculty of International Economics and Politics at UNWE. The two universities agreed to a joint meeting of the Model UN student clubs next year.
